一、学校简介
明尼苏达大学双城校区（University of Minnesota Twin Cities）是一所位于美国明尼苏达州双子城的世界著名公立研究型大学，为明尼苏达大学系统历史最久、规模最大的分校。自1851年建校至今，学校已拥有众多声名显赫的校友，培养出了30位诺贝尔奖得主，1位前美国首席大法官，2位前美国副总统，以及多位名列美国财富500强的企业巨子，具有优秀的教育和服务社会的传统。
明尼苏达大学药学院（University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy）成立于1892年，是美国最早的药学院之一，世界排名名列前茅。该院隶属于明尼苏达大学医疗中心，拥有雄厚的师资力量和先进的教育设施。
二、项目模式
明尼苏达大学药学院相关实验室面向我校药学院大三、大四中国籍本科生开设暑期药学科研实训项目。被录取后，我校学生可于暑期赴明尼苏达大学药学院相关实验室，在实验室老师指导下，参与科研课题研究，时长为1.5-2个月。表现优秀的同学有机会获得明尼苏达大学教授推荐信。
招生范围：药学院药学类专业，大三、大四中国籍本科生
项目时间：2026年7月中旬- 2026年8月底 （具体时长录取前需与导师确认）
签证类型：J-1
项目费用：本项目不收项目费、耗材费。学生需自理机票费、签证费、在美期间校外住宿及生活费等。
三、明尼苏达大学药学院2026年暑期科研实验室简介
Dr. PangHongbo’s Lab
The central question that Dr. Pang's lab focuses on is how to transport the cargo to the site of interest in human body with the high specificity and efficiency. His research synergizes multiple disciplines spanning from cell and cancer biology, peptide chemistry, nanomaterial to clinical imaging and cancer therapies. The ultimate goals are to discover new delivery technologies, decode the underlying transport machineries, and develop novel diagnosis and treatment for cancer and other human diseases.
Dr. Pang’s Biography
Dr. Pang obtained his BS in Peking University, College of Life Science, and PhD in Biochemistry from University of Utah studying the physical properties of HIV. In his postdoc study, he worked in the lab of Dr. Erkki Ruoslahti, who is a pioneer of discovering tissue-specific homing peptides with in vivo phage display technology. During this period, he was rewarded as “next generation star” speaker in AACR annual meeting, received quite a few local awards, and received multiple NIH grants even before his independence. In 2018, he started his lab at UMN.
